Isaiah 43:1-2
1 But now, this is what the Lord says—
he who created you, Jacob,
he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
Jehovah God will truly help you. He is your helper. You are His. He will take action with you wherever you go. Did He not save your life in the past when you crossed over the waters and when you were in the midst of fires of tribulation? If He takes action with you, you will prosper. Jehovah is your God—the God of those who love Him.
God Helps According to the Promise He Gives in Prayer
When God says, “My beloved one, I will truly help you,” it means He will truly help you according to the promise given in prayer. God is the one who heard your prayer. Because He heard your prayer, He is saying He will help you. “Truly” means “no matter what happens.” Since the Lord has kept his promises, and since you have kept the Word and have taken action no matter what happened, God will help you no matter what happens. Since you petition God in tears and with a burning heart, Jehovah will help you.
You Are His
The most joyful thing to hear is God saying that we are His. It means that the omnipotent and omniscient Jehovah is your owner. He will not lose you; He will hold you tightly, help you, and act with you.
Remember How God Helped You in the Past
Think about how God had helped you when there was a flood during the monsoon season or when you were crossing through strong currents. He saved you from all kinds of close calls with death. He led you out of the fires of tribulations so that you wouldn’t burn to death. Don’t forget how God helped you in the past. That Jehovah will help you again.
Think about how God helped the central figures of the Bible—Abraham, Jacob, the Israelites, to name a few. Pain and suffering that they could not resolve alone, that no human being could resolve for them, God resolved it with his omniscience and omnipotence. God said to them, “You are mine. I will truly help you. Therefore, be strong and courageous.”
Have Conviction that God Will Help You
You need to completely and surely believe in what God and the Holy Spirit did and said through the people in the Bible. Then, when you are facing such circumstances, God will say, “Just as I did this for them, I will do that for you.” The Almighty God, the absolute being, truly helps and is with those who believe in Him, rely on Him, love Him, and live for His Will every day and every hour.
The purpose for which God created the heavens, the earth, nature, and human beings and for which He made us believe in Him was to love us, care for us, and help us so that we can fulfill His Purpose of Creation—eternal love with Him. Thus, God has lived “a life of helping” His believers and even non-believers throughout their whole lives according to their deeds. God makes the sun rise on both the evil and the good, and He sends rain down on the righteous and the unrighteous. In this way, He has treated everyone with love. Therefore, according to what you have prayed for, know that God and the Holy Spirit are helping you. Know that They are with you, believe it, and give thanks while living united with the Trinity.
