Resurrect into Lovers of God
Ezekiel 37:4-10
4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.
How did these people die? What we know is they died in the Valley of Ezekiel. Ezekiel was a prophet. God showed Ezekiel the valley and said to him, “Cry out to these people who are dead and speak on my behalf. These are the words of the Lord.” Both the prophet and the Messiah deliver exactly the words that God tells them to deliver. When he prophesied to these dried bones in the Valley of Ezekiel, the dried bones came back to life. And when they came back to life, they formed a vast army.
Now, why do you suppose they became an army? Because they were soldiers before; that’s why. They had died in the course of fighting. The Valley of Ezekiel is known as ‘The valley of death.’ It’s a valley of battles in Israel. And so he’s saying, “Be restored again. Be brought back. Be an army.” Since it was soldiers who had died, that’s why God said that they became an army again when they were revived.
Seize that opportunity
If you want to seize that moment of opportunity, first of all, your mind needs to be alive and active. The opportunity that you waited for your entire life passes by in an instant. You are given enough time to solve that issue and seize that opportunity, if you move fast. However, if you are given the opportunity to do it but then you don’t do it, it’s because you haven’t prepared. It’s because you haven’t readied yourself.
By listening to the Word and putting that Word into action, you have now come back to life. Your bodies are living in the domain of life, and you are living the life of hope and love. Therefore, now that you have come to life, what do you have to do? Just like you did before, you should love God, serve God, rejoice in God, delight in God, be on fire with love, love the Holy Spirit, love the Holy Son, and live your life doing that for your entire lifetime.
The most important thing now is love
The Word of love is important, and love is needed. It is to absolutely love God. Sure, theory is easy. People say, “Oh, I love God.” Nobody hates God. But the thing is, it has to become life. It is really difficult to do that.
Reality is different from the Word. You have to come to life in reality.
If you love Them, then the Almighty, All-knowing God, Holy Spirit and Holy Son will love you too. Then you’ll be satisfied. Receiving human love doesn’t give you as much satisfaction.
When the one you love comes back to life, you are the happiest
If you really love somebody, then you would want that person you love to come back to life. A person who truly loves somebody would really want that person to come back to life. But as for people who dislike them, even if they come back to life, they will do the same things they did before. However, with your lover, when they come back to life, because they love you like they did before, you want them to come back to life. See, it’s about something that belongs to you. Because that person belongs to you then you want them to come back to life.
God too, the reason why He wants us to come back to life is because we belong to God; we don’t belong to other people. It’s not like we come back to life and become the New Testament people or the body of the Old Testament people. When we come back to life, we become people belonging to God, so God pours all of His love upon us for our entire lifetime. And He lives forever with us, loving us forever.
People say that they can feel and rejoice in loving other human beings, but they have a hard time feeling God’s love. But I tell you, try it and see. God’s love, what kind of love is God’s love? It is divine love. It’s true love. It’s sincere love. It’s clear love. It’s definite love. It’s absolute love. And it’s the love that brings you back from death. It’s the love where if the body dies, he saves your spirit; it’s that kind of love. And it is eternal love.
Our time on the earth is a time to find God
What we need to do is live our lives loving God, rejoicing in God and delighting in God.
He sent the Messiah to the earth, and so listening to that Word and putting the Word to practice as we live, that’s what righteousness is. Righteousness is the biggest issue of all, because your destiny is determined by that righteousness. Be merciful to your brothers and sisters and have compassion for them. People who are not merciful will be judged without mercy.
We have to resurrect now
We have to resurrect into lovers of God. We must be orderly, vigorous, valiant, courageous, and heroic. We must also discern black and white. We have to be people who are filled with these virtues.
Every day He rewards people according to what they’ve done. If He leaves sin alone, Satan will take people away and they will go to Hell; that’s why God is always watching like fire, like somebody looking after their lover. In this way, God is a God who’s watching us constantly.
