A Person Who Comes To Life Becomes a God

James 2:17
In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Acts 16:31
They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”

Without actions, you are dead—both physically and spiritually. “Without actions” means “being actionless” or “not taking action.” A person who believes in the Lord but does not take action on his Word is dead; their spirit is dead. Also, a person who has not repented is dead; their spirit is dead too.

Those who really like the Old Testament take action according to what the Old Testament says. However, if you are living in the present, you need to do things of the present, not of the past.

God is shocked twice after giving His Word: once when people believe it, and once more when they act on it. He is also shocked twice when people do not believe His Word and again when they do not act on it. But God is understanding of people because He delivered the Word through a body and because people are of the body.

Faith without deeds is dead. If you believe in the Lord without showing it through your actions, without keeping the Word, you are dead. Only a person who keeps the Word and acts on it is alive in that area. When the Word is given at the pulpit and people do not keep it, God is shocked; the Lord is shocked. This is because people will die if they do not act on it, but still people fail to act.

Coming back to life is difficult. You go through a lot in order to come back to life. You need to completely die in order to resurrect and come back to life. Since it is difficult, you need to keep trying, and keep doing it, in order to come back to life.

You must first absolutely and completely believe before you can resurrect. Care for, serve, obey, love—all these are contained in the word ‘believe.’
