You Who Are Alive, Receive the Lord with Preparation

Matthew 24:44-46
44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. 45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.

It is always best to experience history as it is taking place. If you are willing to do so and have the heart to do so, then you will even forgo food and sleep to do it.

You should prepare because the Son of Man—the Messiah—will come at a time when you do not expect. If you do not prepare, then even if you meet him, he will just seem like an ordinary person to you, like any other man in town.

At the time of the Old Testament, God called His people servants. Then at Jesus’ time, He called them children. And now, God calls them brides. So you need to raise the quality of your character to the highest level to serve God. Make yourself well before God—that is preparing to receive God and to receive the Lord.

Have you come to life? Then you need to prepare and receive the Lord. God will tell the Lord to go around to those who are ready.

What should you prepare? The list is endless. For example, developing yourself to be physically and spiritually clean. Another is meeting the Lord in an orderly way. And even before then, praying really spiritual prayers in order to receive the Lord.

Therefore, you must be awake because you do not know the hour when the Son of Man will return. Only those who are prepared can receive him; those who are not prepared cannot.

God doesn’t just appear. He appears using creation, people, and the person He has sent. At the time of the prophets, He appeared through the prophets. At the time of the Messiah, He appears through the Messiah. The difference is in the Word they preach.

The most important thing is to prepare and be ready. Only those who have prepared and can receive the Lord will know, and God will give them blessings. You must change your thoughts so that you know this clearly and can come to life. You always need to prepare.
