Proverbs 4:23
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
Matthew 6:21
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Hebrews 10:22
Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
Good Thoughts Are a Treasure
In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:8 to intentionally think about noble thoughts because such thoughts are pleasing to God. Not only do they please God, but they also empower you and lead you to acquire eternal treasures as you adopt and live by them. No matter what difficulties you face, if you stand firm in God’s words and keep acting on them, you will inspire others to do the same.
Perception Matters
You need to think by both magnifying and miniaturizing. Everything in life should be viewed from all perspectives, considering both its components and the whole. Only then will you understand how to see each thing from the proper perspective and uncover the beauty or answers that lie in every angle. To view things correctly, we must learn to perceive everything on both a smaller and larger scale.
You Are a Treasure
Through the teachings of Jesus, we learn that only by developing yourself will you discover the purpose of your life. Recognize your worth by taking action and communicating with the Holy Trinity, knowing that you are a treasure.
Learn, Study, and Realize
Learn, study, and realize to eliminate incorrect thoughts and replace them with good ones. To understand the Lord Jesus, you must take action on the challenges He addressed. You must also read the scriptures, pray, act, and do more to represent the Holy Trinity in your faith and work on a larger scale.
Adorn Yourself
God has provided every human being with the basics. However, to live a more meaningful and purposeful life centered on God’s will, you must develop yourselves in all aspects of life, including your talents, skills, and abilities. Only then will you be able to polish and cultivate the treasures that the Holy Trinity has hidden within and around you.
Perceive and Treat Others Properly
Treat the Lord and the people around you with the right perspective. People of the past saw Jesus as savage and primitive because they only saw Him in a limited way, questioning Him with absurd beliefs and treating a great person as though He were small. The same is true for individuals today; instead of focusing on just one feature and finding fault with them, see them as a whole and live harmoniously with everyone.
