John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
2 Corinthians 6:1-2
As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.
Matthew 13:34-35
Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: “I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”
Live a Life of Continual Grace
Although each person is different, most people recognize only briefly at the moment that God grants them grace but forget once that moment passes. People are so oblivious to grace; they only want to be treated well and live only for themselves. For that reason, God is engaging in unrequited love toward people. When it comes to unrequited love, even if you love that person for your entire lifetime, you will not connect with that person.
Even when people greatly benefit from grace, they respond and take action for only a short time at the moment, soon have a change of heart, and lose interest. Then they only want to receive grace again.
When people face crises or difficult problems, they promise to live their entire lives for God if God will solve their problems for them, hang their hopes in Heaven, and even make vows about it. However, even though God and the person sent by God have solved their problems for them thousands of times, they are thankful only for that moment. Sometimes, only 1 out of 10 people live joyfully while continually living lives of grace. This was the case in Jesus’ time, too. Jesus healed 10 lepers but only one of them came to thank Jesus (Luke 17:11-19).
If you have received grace and your problems have been solved, you should be faithful until death and continually live that life of grace. It is to save lives with thanksgiving and love and to live by taking good care of those who are weak and suffering from trials.
Don’t Forget the Grace You Have Received
The reason people forget grace is because they don’t need any help. Since the suffering they were going through has ended, their thoughts comfortably turn to other things, and they live immersed in that work. When you look at 2 Peter 3:5, it says that they deliberately tried to forget the grace. (2 Peter 3:5) But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water.
Grace is something God granted. By God’s grace, a person who would have gone to Hell and suffered forever came out from the domain of death, came out from the world of suffering, and came out of the world of sin. In exchange for that, if you believe in and love God with all your heart and live while repaying that grace, you will live in the domain of life for the lifetime of your body and the eternity of your spirit. If you fail to do this, you will even lose salvation and go to destruction. You will be finished. If you have received grace through God, the one He sent, and those who believe in Him, you must live a life of grace as if it were life itself.
If your life has been saved, you have to give your life to God and Jesus and live as Their bodies to the end no matter what injustice you face. If you do, God will help you no matter what hardships come, save you from death, and save your life again. He will absolutely be responsible for you.
Grace Is Given For a Purpose
The reason God gives you grace is not simply for you to receive it and live comfortably only. You must live a life of grace, grant grace to others, and become beneficial people, God’s beloved people. God said that He will kick out people who are worthless (Matthew 25:30).
The grace that God gives you is like a form of wealth. If you waste it, you will come to ruin. The reason God gave you grace was not because He had grace to spare. He gave it to you for a purpose. Therefore, you have to multiply it like one multiplies talents.
Giving grace isn’t something done automatically like rainfall or snowfall when the seasons come. God gave you tremendous grace out of love so that you will gain eternal life through it, and so that those who gained eternal life can live together with God according to that hope.
Grace Is Given in Many Different Ways
When God gives people grace, He gives it in thousands of different ways. Among grace, there is the grace of material wealth, love, faith, meeting a good person, protecting your life, giving you a dwelling place, giving you a good environment, receiving a treasure or valuables, good health, receiving various masterpieces and gifts, mental things, knowledgeable Word, resolving difficult things, or getting employed. There are thousands of things.
Farm the Produce of Grace
Do you want to receive grace? If you want to receive grace, you can do it by living a life of grace. If you do, grace will come. You must farm the produce of grace at the right time.
Although farming grace is difficult, if you do it, the grace will become abundant and full. Even grace must be learned. Only then will you know and even receive it, value it and share it, and thus, you will always be full and not have a drought of grace.
Wisdom Is Understanding Parables
A wise person knows this: If something looks similar in appearance and form to an original object, they know it is symbolic. Rejoicing and being glad upon seeing it is wisdom. Therefore, God enlightens people about God’s great truth by speaking and teaching using parables. Yet, foolish people understand and believe it only if its appearance and form are the same as the original work, treat it like the original, learn, and rejoice from looking at it. However, there is nothing in the earthly world that is the same as the original work. When you are shown something similar to the original work, you should rejoice as if you had received the original.
You must learn the wisdom of the almighty and all-knowing God. If a person is similar in character, form, and appearance to a certain animal, people say, “He is like that animal. He looks like that animal.” In this way, a wise person immediately knows that something is the same as another object if its meaning, will, and characteristics are the same. If you think that God uses something as a parable and a symbol only if it is the same as that object—if an eagle was used as a parable for a person, then that person’s mouth, feathers, and feet must be exactly like an eagle’s. If that were the case, there is nothing in the world for even God to use as a parable. Therefore, if something is similar in characteristic, heart, and actions, God will use it as an example and a symbol, using it in a parable saying, “It is like this,” and even giving revelations using it. If you are foolish, God will not even give you a revelation. You are given revelations well only if you understand the meaning of what is said.
Let’s say that there is something you like. If you like and acknowledge only what looks exactly like it, then even if God wants to give it to you, He can’t do it because even He doesn’t have it. Because it looks similar in shape, He gives it to you saying, “This is a second version of it.” God has always made history giving things that way. But foolish people think that things will be fulfilled only literally. You must know about symbols and parables. If you don’t know, they won’t be fulfilled even if you wait.
