Make Yourself Clean

Matthew 5:8
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

2 Samuel 22:21
“The Lord has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me.

1 Corinthians 6:19
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

2 Corinthians 7:1
Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

Fundamentally Clean the Temple of Your Body and Heart

There are certain things you may have done out of your love for God, but because you did them with an imperfect heart and mind, those things caused harm instead. Realize this, examine your life, and completely clean up any fundamental problems.

Those who represent God’s body parts should make their bodies and hearts clean. If you make yourself clean, God and the Holy Spirit will come upon the temple of your body and heart and live with you.

Jesus said to the Pharisees in Matthew 23:26, “Blind Pharisees! First, clean the inside, and then the outside also will be clean.” Cleaning the inside means to solve the fundamental problems of your heart, mind, and thoughts.

In 2 Corinthians 7:1 Apostle Paul said, “Dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.” Therefore, while cleaning yourselves, you should also discard old things and fix your fundamental problems. Cut off your physical nature and bad habits, repent, and get rid of them. Then you will become clean and pure.

Purge Your Sins Through Repentance

In 1 John 1:9 it says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

To make yourself clean, you need to pray deeply. Like cleaning something dirty, everyone must repent of their sins until they are clean. If you don’t repent of your sins, you will live as a slave to sin.

For sins that you’ve committed due to all kinds of ignorance, you need to confess them to God through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Then you will become clean fundamentally. When you do that and become clean, it says in Revelation 19:8 that He will permit you to wear fine linen that is bright and clean. It says that the fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.

Revelation 22:14 says, “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city,” and Revelation 19:14 says, “The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.” This means that you need to be clean to be able to follow God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son until the end. You can only enter God’s Kingdom if you make your body’s heart and deeds clean, thereby making your spirit clean.

Live in a Clean and Pure Manner

2 Samuel 22:21 says, “The Lord has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me.” Therefore, if you clean your body, heart, soul, and spirit, which is God’s temple, God will bless the life of your body and spirit according to your righteousness.

The difference between those who believe in God and those who don’t believe is that believers live in a clean and pure way while non-believers do not. You need to always make yourself a clean body of God. Then you will not lose the authority of the domain of life.
