You Gain Through Acting Boldly

Joshua 1:5-11

5 No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

6 Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.

7 “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.

8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

How to properly achieve boldness

Only with the proper character, mentality, and thoughts can we become bold. When you know, you become brave, and when you have hope, you gain courage. Therefore, to be bold, first, you must know. Second, you must have hope. People who take action on what God has commanded are bold. Live keeping this in mind.

Our boldness must be that of Heavenly boldness. Possessing physical weapons is a sign of cowardice. Not only should we get rid of physical weapons, but we must also rid ourselves of the weapons of our words and actions. We must act peacefully, following the Will of God; only then can we cross the Jordan River as the Israelites had and take possession of the ideal world.

The root of one’s boldness

Fundamentally, the ability to be bold rises up from your thoughts. Only the person who receives God’s command and takes action on it is the boldest.

Jesus’ boldness was the greatest. He was the King of Boldness. That’s why, against all odds, he kept pushing forward towards a new world, knowing clearly that it would come true 100%.

Therefore, you must also be brave and courageous; only then can you follow the history of God. You have to have a big heart in order to serve the Trinity. You cannot serve God properly with a weak mind and fragile heart.

Your land of Canaan

The Land of Canaan does not belong to just one person. It belongs to those who fought to gain it and overcame hardships to do so. It belongs to those who listened to the Word of the times and overcame the wicked. Since the Bridegroom’s possessions become the bride’s possessions, in God’s history, God also allows His beloved ones to possess whatever belongs to Him. You can gain when you act boldly.
