Revelation 14: 14-16
I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.
Harvest quickly when the right time has come
When autumn comes, you harvest whatever you farmed and worked hard to produce. Likewise, you should harvest the lives you have worked hard on raising spiritually throughout the year, and each person should harvest his or her own life too. Just as a farmer benefits greatly by harvesting ripe crops quickly and at the right time, you benefit greatly by harvesting lives quickly and at the right time because God will bless you according to your deeds.
If you don’t harvest crops when you are told to, rats and beasts will eat the crops. Likewise, in faith, if you do not harvest the lives when you are told to, then satans and wicked people will drag the lives away.
The harvesting process
Prayer and delivery of the Word is important in order to harvest lives. Just as a farmer swings the sickle and then harvests the crops, you must swing the sickle of prayer and swing the sickle of the Word and then harvest the lives for God.
Even when people don’t remember all that they need to do, when they start working on things, often in the process they remember what else needs to be done. Likewise, you must start harvesting, then you will be reminded of what you need to harvest and will be able to do it. Only you know what things you have to harvest. Harvest with prayer, thanksgiving, and joy.
Harvest the lives of faith
Regarding your life of faith, God says “you’re not working hard enough” more often than He says, “You are working too much. Stop working so hard.” Realize this fact and work harder.
The message for this time, “Harvest,” carries God’s Will to convey a deep revelation. Only those who put their lives on the line and take action right away can realize. You need to hurry and harvest according to the Word. Bring in lives. Then as a result, God will bless you appropriately and fulfill your wishes.
You harvest what you sow; likewise, you harvest the lives of faith that you have taken care of and raised with God up until now. God will inspire and remind you of the lives that you need to harvest. So swing the sickle of prayer and the Word and harvest them.
