Romans 8:29-30
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
God has been helping you from the time of your ancestors
Before your parents were even born, God had already been helping your grandparents. He even moved you to live in a particular location from the time of your ancestors. Realize and know that God has been working from long ago to be able to choose you.
God and the Holy Spirit always inform ahead of time those They have a will for and those whom They love. Or, They give them a sign so that they can take action.
God foresees the future and helps us in advance
God, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord take action in advance. Doing things in advance is the ultimate secret to victory. Even though people might set a date, God knows that tribulation or difficulties will prevent them from taking action on that day. So God and the Holy Spirit make people take action in advance. The wise know this, give thanks, and tell others about His grace so that they may also come to know.
Why does God do things in advance?
It’s because the right time for that work has come. God always takes action at the right time. Therefore, His timing is different from our timing; His thoughts are different from our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). God doesn’t do things according to our thoughts; He does things in advance.
If you do everything in life in advance, it is very effective even if you do only a little of that work. If you don’t do things in advance, you will have to do it after you incur a loss/harm, so there will be more work to do and more difficulties. Therefore, take action in advance. Even now, knowing the future, God and the Holy Spirit take action in advance.
Always keep an open mind as to how God helps us in advance and give thanks
God takes action through regular people and through the man of mission. And at each time, God works through the people who are appropriate for that time. Sometimes, He’ll take action through a child; sometimes, through the husband, wife, or difficult people. He works through foreigners too. He even works through people you have enmity with. You have to always be open and know how to discern.
God keeps His promise, but He does it according to His Will
God doesn’t do things according to our will. Yes, He gives you a promise, but He doesn’t tell you how He’s going to fulfill it—because He does it according to the circumstances of that time.
Until now, God has taken action in advance, knowing that we’re going to go through difficulty in the future. And when He solved our problems for us during times of tribulation, He did those things in advance. In this way, God has always done things for us, and even now and also in the future, God will continue to work in this way.
