Come To Me; Learn From Me

Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Jesus the Messiah saw the reality of the people in his time; he saw their heavy burdens of sin. Jesus saw that those people were heading in the wrong direction towards sin.

Of course, there are the physical burdens of life, but there are also psychological and mental burdens. This is why Jesus said, “Come to me for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

You need to remove the burden of sin, then your burden of life will become light. Your direction will be towards righteousness, and your thoughts will become more positive.

People who know, do things easily, but those who do not know, do things in a difficult way. Life should not be lived in such a difficult way; life does not need to be so hard. The Lord says, “Come to me. Learn from me. Watch me and learn.”

People do all sorts of unnecessary things in a difficult way so their time, energy, and effort are wasted. Unnecessary things include sinning and doing tasks that should be done by others.

Life is easy when you live by God’s Will. Therefore, clear all your burdens of sin and stand clean before God.

Just like Jesus, all people should be gentle and humble in heart. Many think that people are gentle and humble from birth, but that is not true. Actually, people are arrogant because they insist that they, themselves, should do something, or that they, themselves, have done something. However, when you look closely, it is actually God who did over 90% of the work.

Life is difficult for two reasons: the burden of sin and the burden of ignorance. Therefore, as you are living, do not do unnecessary things.

Depending on how people live on earth, their direction of life changes, and they even go onto a different path in the spiritual world. For example, there is a difference between living while properly serving the Trinity versus living while not believing in Jesus as the Messiah but merely as a prophet who is inferior to even Moses.

As you are living, learn from God, learn from the Holy Spirit, and learn from the Lord. Make sure to always ask Them and keep learning.
