Historical record: Prayer – Why is prayer necessary? What is prayer?

John 15:7  If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Ephesians 6:18  And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

1 Thessalonians 5:17  Pray continually

When people don’t converse with each other even though they live together, they have absolutely no idea what the other person is thinking and will only have their own thoughts.

In the same way, if you don’t converse with God, you will live centering on your own thoughts because you don’t know the thoughts of God.

Because prayer is a conversation with God, when you pray, your thoughts settle into God’s domain, and as a result, your thoughts change.

When you pray, God is with you and your heart and thoughts are replaced with God’s thoughts, so fear, anxiety, worries, and concerns disappear.

You should not pray only when you are facing hardships or when you have problems. Instead, you should do it frequently and constantly as you would eat.

Is it possible for two people who love each other to not converse with each other frequently? If you love somebody deeply, but do not converse, then it is one sided love. The depth of conversation reflects the intensity of love between two people. In the same way, prayer is a sign of love between you and God.

Prayer is conversation. Prayer is powerful. Prayer is love.

Like today’s words, I bless you to achieve everything that you want to achieve by praying continually.
