Your Success and Destiny are Determined by Your Judgment and Actions of an Instant

Proverbs 2:2-8  2 turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—3 indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, 4 and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, 5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, 8 for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

As you live your life, opportunities come and go in an instant.

There are many cases that when something happens, you hesitate and wonder, “Should I do it? Should I not do it? What should I do?” and your judgment and decision ultimately push you towards not doing it and thus, you fail to get it done. Once that moment passes, you neither have the desire nor the drive to do it. Then some opportunities only come back after a year and some come back only after three years, seven years, ten years, or twenty years.

Whenever you are trying to do something, something else always comes up and keeps you from doing this work as a result of that work. Life is determined by the judgment of an instant. Therefore, you have to judge well.

The opportunity occurs in an instant. Judgments and decisions are made within an instant. If just a few minutes pass, your thoughts will lean towards the side of not doing it. If a few days, a few weeks, or a few months pass, you will decide, “I can’t do it” and will not do it. That is why you must train the agility of your heart, thoughts, and body in daily life. How do you do that, you ask?

If you make it a habit of judging and deciding in an instant with the work you should do, your heart, thoughts, and body will tend towards judging in an instant and taking action. You have to judge and take action at the speed of light!

I pray that you will judge well in an instant and decide with God’s thoughts and wisdom and take action in a flash. Thus, you will gain a hundred, a thousand, or ten thousand times the amount of time and succeed with time to spare.
