Revelation 17:14
They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”
1 John 5:5
Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
Good Always Prevails Over Evil in the End
From the time of the Old Testament until now, the good side has always triumphed in the fight between good and evil. No matter how difficult and arduous the fight was, there was no occasion when the good side ended up losing. In other words, the side of Heaven, with the Holy Trinity, has always been successfully fulfilling God’s Purpose of Creation while battling against Satan and the wicked. Evil fights against good with evil. Good fights against evil with good.
Let’s look at the main scriptures, Revelation 17:14: “They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.” The Lamb is Jesus. He is not a king who came to rule one nation, but he is the King of kings, the Lord of lords, who came to save the whole world.
When the New Testament came, even though the Jews from the Old Testament and Jesus’ followers both believed in the same God, they made history as they fought against each other, claiming God’s Will was different. Satan and the wicked united, and to fulfill their will, they constantly attacked Jesus and his followers.
However, Jesus always fought against and triumphed over Satan and the wicked. This is because he is the King of kings and the Lord of lords whom God sent. Since Jesus won, those who were called and chosen by God and who truly confessed Jesus as Lord, believed in him, and followed also prevailed with Jesus. In this time period too, if you become one with the Holy Trinity and Jesus and act with them, you will win!
When God made salvation history by sending the Messiah, or whenever He tried to fulfill the purpose that pertained to each time period by sending people with missions, Satan and the wicked who unite with Satan always fought against people God sent and tried to fulfill their own will instead. In the end, God won and triumphed because He was the one who took action.
God and Jesus’ side, the side of good, never pick a fight against the wicked. They just try to make salvation history. However, Satan and the wicked always target and fight against the good side as their enemy. That is why the good side has no choice but to fight.
The good side knows they will win in the end, but the fighting process is hard. Those who are weak and can’t fight well may have a hard time and sometimes they may even fall down. But the good side has no choice but to fight because the wicked side keeps trying to make the good side collapse. Our fight is a fight of goodness and a fight of faith. It is a sincere fight before God. With the authority to love and serve the Trinity and Jesus, we fight while fulfilling God’s Purpose of Creation. That is why in the end, we will surely prevail!
What We Need to Do During Times of Tribulation
1) Solidify our faith all the more.
2) Check ourselves to discover what we need to fix and perfect.
3) Call upon the Trinity and Jesus all the more and be close to them.
In every time period, whenever people try to act on God’s Will and face all kinds of tribulations and difficulties, Satan and the wicked are always involved. Knowing this, you shouldn’t shrink back or fall down, but you need to win and win again by being united with the Holy Trinity and Jesus.
You need to learn and know. And once you know, you need to do your responsibility and take action faithfully. Then you will live a continuously victorious life that overcomes Satan, the wicked, and the ignorant.
The Meaning of a Victorious Life:
1) Being diligent and fighting and overcoming laziness.
2) Defeating all kinds of temptations and enticements, and loving the Trinity and Jesus with noble love.
3) Preaching the gospel and saving people. Then you will receive the crown of life, and you will be blessed physically and spiritually.
4) Being faithful to the work you’ve been entrusted with according to your talents. Everyone has things to do. You shouldn’t be idle, but everyone should help each other and work hard.
5) Giving thanks, rejoicing, and always praying sincerely as you live your life.
6) Not causing problems but managing yourself well so that no more problems will occur.
7) Doing what you need to do without being idle–not only the work of faith but also the work that pertains to your body, and managing your finances well.
8) Not slandering the faithful people in difficult times but checking and perfecting yourself.
When we continue to take action in this way, we will triumph again. As it says in Revelation 17:14, we have won in the past. In the future, too, when you believe in Jesus and believe in the Holy Trinity through him, and when you take action according to God’s Will, you will triumph. Satan and the evil will disappear forever. God has predestined it. As in the past, the same is true in the present and also in the future. Live a life of victory and triumph along with the Holy Trinity and Jesus! Amen.
