Matthew 7:7-12
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Matthew 18:19
Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven
Proverbs 11:27
Whoever seeks good finds favor, but evil comes to one who searches for it.
Do the Work You Must Do
Whoever you may be, nothing will work out if you don’t do anything about the work you should do. Therefore, do the work you must do. Who can do your work if you don’t do it? The problem is solved when you take action. Those who don’t take action are like the deceased. Take action. Then the Holy Trinity will act with you.
Do Your Responsibility
“Ask, Seek, and Knock on the Door. Then it Will be Given to You.” This essentially means, in one sentence, “do your responsibility.” Asking, seeking, and knocking on the door is our human responsibility. Giving is God’s responsibility. In Matthew 7:7, Jesus said there are many things to receive by asking God, many things to gain by seeking, and many things to earn by opening up a closed door. People treat you according to how you treat them, and God also treats you according to how you treat Him. It means He will repay you according to what you have done.
Asking, Seeking, and Knocking Has Been Effective Historically
Catholic and Protestant Christianity offered prayers of asking, seeking, and knocking on the door for 2,000 years according to this Word. Consequently, they evangelized a tremendous number of people, 3.6 billion people, and they were able to make the New Testament history blossom despite countless difficulties.
Because they asked, they received physically and spiritually from God. Because they sought, they were able to find and gain material wealth and new land. By praying, they opened doors that had been shut by tribulations and difficulties. By asking, seeking, and knocking on God’s door, they were able to make a global history until now.
Take Action as You Ask, Seek, and Knock on the Door
You also need to take action as you ask, seek, and knock on the door. Then, the problems will be resolved. There’s nothing that will get done if you just sit still because you’re disheartened or because it’s hard.
Whatever it is that you need, you must absolutely ask for it. Do your responsibility. Then, if your request is appropriate, God will give it to you. If you don’t have anything to ask, seek what you need. Seek things that exist and seek the people you need. Seek God. When you seek, you will find God, He will give it to you, and the problem will be resolved. Every time you are blocked, then knock on the door, and it will be opened.
Right now is the time to meet with God. It is the time to ask, seek, and knock. You will gain as much as you ask; you will find as much as you seek.
When you ask, you need to ask with all your heart. If you have to go 1000 miles to gain something but only go 100 miles, then you cannot gain it. If it is something you can only gain if you go 1000 miles, you must go the full 1000 miles. This is what it means to ask or pray with all your heart.
God always gives the Word that pertains to everyone. Each person has something for which they must ask, seek, and knock on the door. However, God will only take action according to His promise for the one who asks, seeks, and knocks. The message from Matthew 7:7 is God’s promise. Anyone can fulfill this promise if they do their responsibility.
When you merely read the Bible, it’s the same as reading any other ordinary book. However, when you take action upon the Word, power will come. When you take action, problems will be resolved. When you take action, history will take place.
You have to seek the Holy Trinity. You have to find your first love, your first faith. You have to find your sins and repent of them. You need to find out for what you need to ask, seek, and knock on the door, and pray about them.
