Faith of Action and Life

James 1:22-25 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

Matthew 7:24-27 Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.

1 John 3:18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

Immediately Act Upon a Realization from God

Our purpose is one. It is to live, listening to the Word of the Eternal God, obeying and loving Him, and serving God with the Holy Spirit and the Lord daily.

When you first realize something, the inspiration in your heart can feel as if it reaches heaven itself. But if you simply realize it and let it pass, that clarity soon fades. It begins to feel ordinary, and before long, you forget it altogether. At the moment of realization, it is like being soaked by rain or covered with snow, so it feels vivid and real. But once the rain and snow pass, that sensation disappears.

That is why you must act immediately on what you realize. You should confess and testify about it and live while calling upon God, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord. Only then does the realization remain real and alive. When it stays alive, you continue to be inspired by it just as you were at the first moment of realization, with the same sense of reality. Do not let it fade. Take action and keep it in mind as you live your daily life.

Make Yourself Perfect Before God

No matter who a person is, putting the Word into action means acting together with God, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord. When you yourself abide by the Word and live it out, the Word becomes flesh through your actions. God is spirit, so even if He comes and goes, He is invisible to physical eyes. Yet God is with you through your mind and heart. When you act according to the promise between you and God, He is with you, feeling and watching through His heart and thoughts.

Just as people frequently come and go within your own domain, the spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord also come and go. Even if God, the Holy Spirit, or the Lord do not physically appear, They still perceive our prayers and actions by feeling them. Some people wonder whether God and the Holy Spirit are truly watching them. God watches people closely by sending angels who carry out His missions. Through angels, God also protects people from evil spirits and wicked individuals. As it is written in Isaiah 37:36, “Then the angel of the Lord went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the Assyrian camp. When the people got up the next morning, there were all the dead bodies.”

God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus watch us day and night, all at once, as if watching Themselves. However, when we live in a way that frustrates Their heart, They keep Their distance. We must live in a way that aligns with Their deep heart. This is also true in human relationships. When one person wounds another’s heart, it causes anger and distance. The same principle applies in our relationship with God and the Holy Spirit.

When each person lives belonging to the spirit with a willing heart, they come to feel and understand God and the spiritual world more deeply. You must examine your will, thoughts, and actions and refine them. God governs the entire world, and even at this moment He is watching everyone in order to repay each person according to their deeds, whether good or evil. Therefore, you must live by truly loving God and obeying Him wholeheartedly. You must not seek Him anxiously only in times of crisis. Instead, you should always live united with God in love and righteousness. What matters is whether you live as God’s counterpart of love, always loving Him and delighting in Him. Through this, both your environment and your destiny are determined.

God created all things for us with a purpose, saying, “Let us live together in love.” According to that purpose, we must live each day rejoicing wholeheartedly, offering our heart, will, and life to Him. This is true eternal life.

Even when God gives blessings, if you live according to your own ways, you will have no lasting joy, gladness, or hope. No matter how much you pursue what you want, it leads to emptiness and anguish because your spirit and soul lack hope. Whether angel or human, when one falls from their proper position, fallen actions follow. When a person is pure, their deeds will also be pure.

Take Action Tremendously

In the spiritual world, spirits automatically go to places that match their level according to their deeds. Where they end up is suitable for them, and because it fits them, they live there. Even among those who believe in God and believe in Jesus, many spirits go to the domain of Death. This happens because of what they have done, even though they live within God’s domain. Because they do not understand the secrets of the spirit, they end up in Death. Only after finishing their earthly life do they finally realize where their spirits go and how they will live. If they had known this earlier, they would not have lived as they did.

Even those who have encountered the new time period must live by taking action at that level. That level means living as God’s and the Holy Spirit’s counterpart of love, which is the highest level. Only when you live in a way that fits the time period can you receive the salvation of that time period. A person’s actual life is often disappointing and different from what they imagine. Because there is an eternal purpose that must truly be fulfilled, you are required to take action tremendously.

Cut Off Unrighteous Deeds Like Cutting Off Unnecessary Tree Branches

A small potted pine can become a true work of art only when most of its branches are cut off, often more than half. A tree with too many branches is easily shaken by the wind and can eventually fall over. To recover, it must endure many hardships. A tree shines only when unnecessary branches are removed. To shape it into a masterpiece, all branches except the main ones must be cut away.

In the same way, a person becomes truly great only by removing unrighteousness and unnecessary things from their life. Faith works the same way. Among your deeds, you must cut off what is unrighteous and unnecessary, leaving only what is essential and lasting. Only then can you grow properly as a masterpiece of faith.

To accomplish great work and to become great, you must remove small distractions and focus only on what is most important. You need to concentrate on one central task, using all other efforts to support that purpose. At any given time, there is one work that must be done on a large scale. The greater a person is, the more focused they are on a single purpose. A world-class athlete, for example, concentrates solely on their sport. Even within a single day, if you do many things at once, you cannot achieve something great. To accomplish great work, you must be fully absorbed in one thing. Only then can it be completed.

For Jesus, the core was the Word and the gospel. The same must be true for us.

Condense Time by Putting God’s Design and Wisdom into Action

Compared with the eternal kingdom, the spirit, and eternal time, the physical world and a human lifespan of about one hundred years are like a single second. When you receive God’s design and wisdom and put them into action, it is as though time is condensed, because you live and act together with God and the Holy Spirit throughout your life.
