Do the Work You Should Do After Learning It First

Joshua 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Romans 12:11

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

Leviticus 25:38

I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God.

Revelation 2:10

Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.

Learn Through Repetition, Study, and Effort

Whatever task it may be, at first, you will probably think, “This is really impossible.” Try doing it repeatedly, dozens or hundreds of times. If you study and make an effort, the task will ultimately become possible. For example, when singing for the first time, your voice might even sound like scraping metal. However, if you keep at it, you will gradually produce the sounds you desire. Take action repeatedly and see. Repetition, study, and effort are the answers! When cooking rice for the first time, too, it might turn out like gruel, more than the delicious rice you want. If you keep doing it, however, you will cook the delicious rice you want. It is repetition, effort, and study. In addition to talent, it is education. It is to learn. It is to have a fighting spirit.

To Do Big Things, You Must Do Them a Lot

With everything you do in life, it does not go well when you do it for the first time. Do you say something is not working out well after trying it only a few dozen times? The more you do, the greater the result. When it comes to big tasks, they do not go well even after doing them hundreds of times. Only after a thousand attempts will you invent something or become an expert in that field.

If you do not make many attempts, you cannot do things in big ways. The more you do, the more you will know, and the more you will do things in big ways. People who have done a lot will do things in big ways. They will succeed greatly. Up until this point, you have done only as much as what you currently possess. You failed to possess greatly because you have not done things in big ways.

With farming, too, if you do not farm on a big scale, you will barely make a living for only yourself. Only if you farm on a big scale and grow crops on hundreds of thousands of acres will you harvest thousands of sacks of grain as a farmer. With prayer, too, only if you pray a lot will you realize a lot, gain a lot, and achieve piles of merits as well. If you do not know much, you cannot do much.

Only if you get used to doing a lot will it become a habit, and thus, you will always do a lot. If you get used to doing a little, you will fail to go beyond your limits for your lifetime and die after doing things only a little. It is to do things with all of your heart with as much strength as you have. Then, when you gain more strength, you should take action again. You do great work while continually taking action in this way. Billionaires, kings, heroes, and patriotic martyrs do not count their attempts but take action until it is successful.

A limit is one thing and not two; it means that you stop after doing only one thing.

You will become bigger only if you do at least two things. If you have done two things, you have to do even three things; only then are you going beyond your limits. Limits come when you do only one thing. If you do things continually by doing one thing, then two things, and then three things, and so on, you will go beyond your limits and do things in big ways.

Make It a Habit to Do Things in a Big Way

If it is work that you must do, you must do it so much and in such a big way that the onlookers are astonished. However, when someone who did not do a lot in big ways tries to do a lot in big ways, they cannot do it because they are worried and their hearts race due to fear and nervousness.

With faith, too, someone who does not believe 100% cannot believe with certainty that what they are doing will work out. They are afraid and have doubts. Those who doubt will even worry that the earth, which was created by God and is perfect, might break down and fall out of orbit. Some scientists, too, are always worried about it. In this way, people live their lives of faith foolishly because they fail to believe in God absolutely.

When you ask someone who is used to doing a lot to do a little, they cannot do it either. Just as a person who is used to eating large portions cannot endure hunger when they eat small portions, when someone who has done a lot of work does little work, they cannot sleep at night. Someone who used to hunt only rabbits will run away when a wild boar heads their way. Someone who is used to hunting wild boar will get disappointed when a rabbit heads their way, but when a wild boar heads their way, they go after it to catch it. You must be able to handle the things of the world that come your way. Only then will they become yours.

In this way, if a person gets used to not doing big things, they cannot do big things because they are afraid, scared, and worried. Therefore, you must develop a habit of doing big things. With your heart, too, you use it according to how big or small you trained it to be. Do things in big ways from the start. A person who does things in big ways thinks big to start with. If you try to do things in big ways from the start without having a big heart, you cannot do it because your heart races and you are worried.

Commit to Learning and Taking Action

As for those who lack skills and capabilities, they must do things more repeatedly than those who have skills, even while losing sleep. Then, they will ultimately prosper. They will learn while taking action. If they do that, they will understand—and as a result, they will start doing in big ways what they once did in small ways. This is true with faith, too. Investing in faith does not require money. It requires effort. It requires investing time. It requires taking action properly according to the Word in the Bible. Since you will ultimately prosper, you should believe and take action boldly. You should pray. You should receive the Holy Spirit’s inspiration and take action. You should listen to the Word and take action on the things you are inspired by.

Those who have failed to succeed should listen to the stories of those who succeeded. You will know that those who succeeded did much more than you thought. The same is also true for people of the world. Success was achieved by people who took action while making an effort with zeal. You will come to know that if you steadily learn and take action for several years. You, too, can get things done if you take action while watching and learning from those who are taking action.

People do not do things even though they are capable of doing them. No matter the skill, if you take action after studying and learning it on your own, you will be able to do things proficiently—even those that once seemed impossible. If you do not learn and you lack skills, things will not work out, even if you work with zeal. Things will work out if you take action after learning the skills and after learning various things.

If we take action with zeal, God and the Holy Spirit help us, too. We must take action with zeal, but we must make various efforts with God’s Will in mind at all times. Only then will we gain both as a result of our hard work and through God’s blessings. God works upon those who take action.
