Be Perfect

Matthew 5:48

Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

2 Samuel 22:26

“To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you

show yourself blameless…”

God Finds and Uses Perfect People

Being perfect is doing things completely and checking them thoroughly. Throughout God’s history, He always used people who were blameless. In the time of Abraham, God found Abraham to be perfect in faith and used him to do His work. Similarly, in the times of Noah, David, and the prophets, God found people who were blameless and used them. This is because those who are perfect will also do things perfectly, while problems and conflicts continue to arise for those who take imperfect actions.

God Wants to See the Effort in Us to Be Perfect

Believers of God may say that it’s hard to be perfect, but God wants to see our efforts in striving for perfection. No one is born perfect. Those who realize how great it is to be perfect will take action, and God will see that sincerity and help them.

We Must Do It After Learning First

Learn what it means to do things perfectly. The people of God learned first through the Word they received from Him and through experiencing hardships as they took action in their daily lives. That’s why they became competent and able to do God’s work perfectly. Those who do not learn correctly will do the work mediocrely and cause problems.

Do Things Completely

Whether it’s for your physical or spiritual work, do not stop halfway. Being perfect is difficult, but it’s possible if you keep refining yourself. Those who are able to perfect themselves end up living a comfortable life.

Be Responsible for Your Own Life

Don’t rely on others to always help you and lift you up. Instead, pray and take action for your own life of faith. God has given each one of us enough resources to succeed, and He helps those who put in effort even more. Therefore, you need to take responsibility for advancing your own life.

Learn from the Lord

Our lives turn out according to who we learn from. Those who learn from business owners will have a business mindset, and those who learn from politicians will have a political mindset. Likewise, the one who learns from the perfect being will become perfect. Jesus is the best to learn from. Listen to His word and act upon it, and your life will turn out well—not just spiritually, but also physically.
