Ultimately, It Was God’s Will

Mark 14:36

“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

Jesus’ Death on the Cross

Jesus didn’t die on the cross because of betrayal by Judas Iscariot or failure by John the Baptist, but because those who were waiting for the Messiah, including the followers of the Law, disbelieved in Him. From the start, they didn’t welcome or recognize Him.

God’s Will was fulfilled through Jesus’ sacrifice, even though the time period was wicked. Jesus bore the sins of the people, and through the cross, He redeemed them from death. For salvation, people must believe in Jesus as the Messiah, repent, and follow Him, which has been the basis of New Testament history for 2,000 years.

Whether in business, politics, family, or a nation, the leader must take responsibility for problems.

Fulfilling God’s Will

Joseph fulfilled God’s Will despite his brothers’ wrongdoing. Though their actions were sinful, God used them to bring Joseph to Egypt, setting conditions for Israel’s future. It wasn’t God’s Will for the wicked to torment the righteous, but this happened because of their wickedness. Even if the time period was not wicked, Joseph would have ended up in Egypt to fulfill God’s plan. The righteous must put their lives into God’s Will, knowing that it unfolds according to how people treat those God sends.

Do not judge situations based on one aspect, as this can lead to misinterpretation. The Bible must be interpreted without contradiction to understand God’s Will. Those who receive the one sent by God fulfill His purpose.

Forgiving Others and Repenting on Their Behalf

Resenting others causes sin and blocks our path. The righteous forgive their enemies fully, leaving no room for accusation or fault. By following God’s laws, they become clean and righteous. God will judge the wicked, ensuring the righteous are not harmed. Repent for your own wrongdoings, not others’, and pray for your enemies to be saved. Jesus taught us to pray for those who wrong us (Matthew 5:44) as if their sins were our own.

There Will Be Difficulties

Following God’s mission may bring suffering, but it also brings blessings as you fulfill His Will. Without serving God, life’s difficulties come from your own actions. The difficulty lies in bearing the sins of others, but through this, they can be saved.

God Is Omnipotent and Omniscient

God’s omnipotence and omniscience are evident in His planning and execution of history. He has made everything turn out well in advance, and as time passes, His plans continue to unfold. For example, God spoke through Prophet Malachi 400 years before Jesus’ birth, and through Jesus, about His return 2,000 years ago. God’s Will unfolds in advance for individuals as well.

Preparing for the One God Sends

People wait for the new time period and the one God sends. To prepare, we must grow in faith, seek understanding, and receive Him properly. The greatest knowledge is to learn about Jesus and live a life of service, honoring God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son. Those who follow the perfect truth are truly happy, as they understand God’s purpose for creating heaven and earth.
