Luke 7:23
“Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.”
John the Baptist
John the Baptist did not stumble on account of Jesus before being put in prison when he was testifying for the Lord. Only when he was in prison did he become disappointed in Jesus and stumbled on account of him. Then he sent his disciples to ask Jesus if he was the Messiah.
John the Baptist was a witness to Jesus and was to prepare the way for the Lord. A witness should preach and testify with knowledge of the core to avoid becoming disappointed. When testifying, you have to know correctly. The person who comes in the new time period comes to fulfill God’s promises from the old time period and does that work together with God. However, people get disappointed and even reject him because they don’t know. Those who were blind in faith fell down, became discouraged, stumbled, and went missing because they failed to open their eyes and realize.
God’s secret is that He does things according to His Will, and only the Almighty knows something at the time it is being done. The person sent by God does nothing on his own as God takes action through him and may not know why he did something even after doing it, until God reveals it to him.
People Always Disbelieved the Saviour God Sent
At the time of Moses in the Old Testament, the Israelites resented Moses, the person who was sent by God, and fought against him, betrayed him, and disbelieved him. They did not dare disbelieve God. The same is true with the New Testament at the time of Jesus. God judges people based on the standard of how they treat the one sent because God works through him.
God carries out history by sending one person in charge at each time, including the prophets, kings and judges and Messiah all at the appropriate times. Into the future, God works the same way and will send leaders at each time period for a thousand years within that same domain. Salvation will not happen if you don’t know whom God is carrying out history through. Only the one sent by God has the answers, and the savior is the only one who can save.
God Repays Us According to Our Deeds
God has been repaying people for thousands of years until now according to how they have treated Jesus at the New Testament time and what they have done. Each person must do the work of their own missions and the work they have been assigned. The Almighty proclaims things silently and lets them continually pay for what they have done and for the price of the blood they’ve shed (Matthew 23:35).
Even when things were absolutely impossible due to tribulations, They gave opportunities for the ones They love. They give opportunities beforehand knowing what will happen in the future. Therefore, never forget the past because each person can realize afterwards what the Trinity gave them. Those who have taken action gain strength and live rejoicing because of it even during the days of tribulations.
Satan Deceives Through People and Directly
Never fall for deception as Satan is powerful in deceiving. If you lose something by falling for deception, then it means that you’ve lost it from the day it was taken from it. You must not let them take from you the Word of life of the time period, love, and faith. You must triumph by fighting with the sword of the Word. It is by absolutely believing the Word of the time period and the Lord that you can defeat Satan. The Lord comes to destroy evil. Heaven will happen once you defeat God’s enemy, Satan. Heaven is a place where we go after fully destroying Satan. Through praying, make your spiritual nature strong. We must cut off our physical nature with the sword of the Holy Spirit, the sword of the Word. You have to make your mind and thoughts perfect and be united with the Lord. Only then will you discern good and evil, stand on the side of God’s history of this time period, and do things perfectly.
Those Who Are Following Must Never Feel Disappointed
At first people gladly follow and testify and believe, but when tribulations come or things don’t work out the way they want, they get disappointed at the person they’ve been following and sometimes even slander. They could even stumble. People have to take on their responsibility to live their life, even if the Messiah did everything else for them. Jesus poured out his whole heart and life for people, but because people did not do their responsibility, they got disappointed and stumbled as things didn’t turn out the way they expected. People who stood on absolute faith without stumbling fulfilled God’s Will and triumphed. Since this is God’s history, in order to make it work out better, He always does things in ways that people cannot understand.
There are many examples in the Bible where somebody who was righteous had to suffer through the same things as those who were unrighteous. Noah was a blameless man, so don’t you think Noah had reasons for being disappointed when he had to face the flood? Even Elijah took action without stumbling on account of God even in the midst of various sufferings and injustices. Joseph also did not stumble on account of God even though he was subjected to suffering and injustice. The same is true with the prophets of the Old Testament, King David, Joseph, the disciples at Jesus’s time, and many others.
Receiving Salvation
You absolutely cannot receive salvation if you believe without knowing the Lord. If you believe him to be a prophet, you will receive a prophet-level salvation. If you know and believe him to be the Messiah, you will receive salvation of the Messiah’s domain. Only when you know correctly will you receive perfect salvation. The problems of the old time period will all be resolved and fulfilled in the new time period. This is how God works. You must not stumble; only then will He continue to bless this new history. God is always doing things according to His thoughts.
