Matthew 19:16-17
Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?” “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”
John 15:4-6
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.
Come to Life
Keep the Word of life to become a good person and enter the domain of life. Jesus refers to God as the “only One who is good” (Matthew 19:16-17). By keeping the commandments, you enter God’s domain and become alive. To become a son, you must listen to the New Testament. To move beyond, you must hear the Word of the current time period and take action. The Word of God advances with each time period.
Righteousness and Eternal Heaven
Living righteously is key. Goodness means believing in the eternal God. If you live by His Word, you will be used for your body’s lifetime, and your spirit will remain eternal. Without belief in God, even a ‘good’ life ends with the physical body and doesn’t lead to Heaven. A life disconnected from God ends with the person alone.
Become an Attached Branch
To live, we must be united with the Trinity and the Savior. A branch lives only if it is connected to the original branch. A person attached to the Word draws life from it. If you forget the Word, it’s like being dead. Those detached from Christ lack sense and follow their own will. Sin without repentance is also death. Detached actions are considered dead. Stay attached to the vine, Jesus, and you will live.
Rewarded According to Actions
People are separated by their actions (Matthew 25:32-33). God rewards or separates based on the righteousness they have done. Righteousness is like money. In the Old Testament, those who disbelieved the one sent were sinners. Jesus separated the sheep (those who accepted the New Testament) from the goats (those who followed the Old Testament). People’s rewards differ depending on their connection to Christ.
Be United in Heart and Thoughts
To enter God’s kingdom, unite with the Trinity, listen to the Word, and take action. Forgetting the Word or the Savior leads to death. If you fail to follow God’s Will, you will suffer consequences. Drive your life well, regardless of others. Absolute belief in the Word and the Savior will push back Satan. Through tribulations, remain steadfast.
For people who are unable to get up on their own, God will blow air of the Holy Spirit and the Word into them, like a soccer ball that is being pumped up. The desire to know and pray is key. Others can provide material, but your personal desire matters most.
Live with control and discipline. Use the power of the Word as your fortress. Unite with God’s Will, as His thoughts are higher than human thoughts. Your thoughts shape your life.
