Management Is Life

1 Corinthians 2:16
or, “Who has known the mind of the Lord   so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:12-23
Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not treat prophecies with contempt  but test them all; hold on to what is good, reject every kind of evil. May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Life is an individual race as well as a team race, so when your brothers and sisters do well, acknowledge their efforts and hard work. We should help one another and live in harmony. Management must be done out of love. It is an act of loving others and loving ourselves.

Since God’s love comes through the Word, God’s Word is the best tool for managing ourselves and others. In fact, God finds and works through those who are filled with His Truth, since they are the ones who can take action to fulfill His Will of love.

Prayer Is a Form of Management

You may not always be able to physically intervene to help someone. Or, even if you are physically available, you may not have the power or ability to help them. At such times, you can help manage others and yourself through prayer. Prayer is an important form of management. Realize how valuable prayer is.

And when we pray, we need to pray with the heart of Christ. We need to pray with focus and love. If you plead until the end, God will surely listen to your petitions. Will God not hear earnest prayers that are offered day and night? In Luke 18:6-8, it states

And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says.  And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?  I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

Prayer allows God and Jesus to take action, so set your mind to pray earnestly, sincerely, and with love. Through prayer resolve your grievances, and through prayer transform more perfectly and spiritually.

Manage Everything with God Until the End

With only one month left in 2022, we should make up for what we haven’t been able to do this year. We should adopt the mentality of “going until the very end.” For example, in this year’s World Cup, South Korea made it to the top 16 because they didn’t give up and scored when it was down to the wire. Japan also made it to the top 16 because they kept going until the very end and scored at the 51st minute mark. Likewise, we need to manage our situations by taking action until the end. We need to manage our lives even if situations seem bleak at times. Even when all hope seems lost, we must still keep going until the very end.

Rely on God, entrust Him with your worries and concerns, and act on His Word. There are many things for you to do and take action on, as much as your strength allows. We should not misunderstand one another but entrust everything to God. If you’ve entrusted something to God, would He just let it be? God will surely take responsibility for it. Let’s manage ourselves and others together with God.

No matter what difficulties or situations you encounter, pray to God, and you will find hope. You will live eternally without regrets. The Lord is always with you, so as long as you take action together with him, you will do well.
