The Authority of Prayer and Love

Ephesians 6:17-18

Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Jude 1:20-21

But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

Why Is Prayer Important?

In the course of living our everyday lives, conversation is important. We express ourselves through conversation. We seek help through conversation. We resolve misunderstandings through conversation. And prayer is something we do through conversation. That’s why prayer is so important—because it’s a conversation between us and the Holy Trinity.

Even though prayer is important, we often forget about it. However, we should really value prayer. As human beings, we need time to organize our thoughts. When our minds are in a state of confusion or when we can’t find an answer, we need a way to clear our thoughts. At these times, what should we do? We need to pray. Prayer will give you the strength to carry on.

So before doing anything else, the first thing we must do is pray. Prayer is the answer. You need to destroy all wicked things through prayer and become one with God. Especially before doing important work, pray and converse with the Holy Trinity and Jesus first. Then your complicated heart will be resolved. You have to pray in order for God’s thoughts to come into you. Pray and entrust things to God. Pray, pray, and pray again to resolve problems.

We are compelled to pray when times are bad, hard, or difficult. However, we also have to pray when times are good. Prayer is not something you should be told to do. Rather, you need to pray voluntarily. You need to realize that God accompanies you when you pray. When you pray, God will immediately get involved. When you pray, you will become spiritual and one with God.

Seizing the core of any given thing is really important. The predawn is the core spiritual time of each day. Morning prayer gives you energy, so you will be filled with energy when you pray in the early morning. Praying in the predawn like Jesus did is extremely appealing but also difficult.

However, if you succeed at morning prayer, you can receive many things from God, since He frequently wants to give you things. If you set one condition, He will give you ten things. It is predestined for God to give you things if you pray. The appropriate things you pray for, He will give them to you when the right time comes. Therefore, you must pray.

How Should We Pray?

How much you pray will really change your destiny. Pray earnestly and pray until you reach the climax of your earnestness. Your earnestness connects you to God. Meet God through earnestness and sincerity. Earnestness is to have focused thoughts and focused actions. You have to focus to hear well. Focus your thoughts and mind with earnestness. In this way, Satan will be unable to find an opening. Earnestness means devotion. Earnestness connects you to God because it is not superficial. It is sincerity. It makes impossible things possible.

Besides earnestness, you should pray to God with love. Prayer is love. When praying, you should pray absolutely as God’s counterpart. The uniqueness of love is that it has to be poured out. You need to pour out your love to God. Since God’s purpose is love, when you pray, always pray with love. Do it by pouring out your heart and love to God like pouring out water.

Transform your thoughts into God’s thoughts. Pray so that you can receive God’s heart. If you pray, it becomes your authority. If you set the condition, God will get involved. That condition is prayer.
