Luke 3:23
Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry. He was the son, so it was thought, of Joseph, the son of Heli,
Revelation 21:6-7
He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.
God’s Will versus man’s will
Revelation 21:6-7 means that if God has a Will for something, He will be the one to start it and He will also finish it. But if something is not the Will of God, then you will be the one to start it, and you will end it as well. The Gospel was started according to God’s timing.
Blessings come to those who believe and take action on the Gospel
When a person who doesn’t believe in God falls ill, but they are told to believe in God and then choose to believe at that time, they will experience less suffering than if they had continued to disbelieve. However, in addition to believing in God, they should also read the Bible and take action upon receiving the Gospel.
If you listen to the Gospel but don’t act on it, it will end with just that. Your happiness will end with yourself and God’s Will cannot be fulfilled properly. Take action on the Gospel from the beginning to the very end.
Although you may face hardships while listening to the Gospel and taking action on it, you have to destroy ignorance and evil in order to overcome those hardships. Despite any difficulties along the way, if you consider taking action on God’s Will as a blessing given by God instead of seeing it as labor, you will come to do it steadily and passionately until the end. Throughout religious history, those who overcame hardships and took action on the Word were victorious. God is with those who are victorious, and He rewards them with physical and spiritual blessings.
God’s Word is love
What’s greater than love? It is the Word of God. What use is it to hear “I love you! I love you! I love you!” if those words can’t save you? You can only be saved through the Word of God. In the Bible, God said, “Those who love me will listen to my Word.” Therefore, the Word and love are the same. The Word is God’s love.
Realize the importance of God’s Word. When the Word is delivered, spirits can come from death to life. The Word is like the roots of a tree: without roots the tree will wither and die. With the Word, even those who are struggling can come back to life as long as they have the desire to revive themselves.
To remain on the path of God’s blessing, you mustn’t center on yourself or others, but you should change your thoughts to be united with God’s. Those who listen to the Word and act upon it have things happen in ideal ways, but those who don’t act according to the Word often have things take a turn for the worse.
The importance of the Gospel and time
Just as the two most important dates for a person are the day they are born and the day they get married, we need to understand and value the importance of God’s dates. God keeps time down to the second. Realize that if He were even just a little bit off, there would have been many times that you could have died.
God acts according to time for many reasons: There is a time for that specific work; He wants to match the time that pertains to His Will in the future; He takes action according to the Will that was already fulfilled through the prophets or central figures; and He carries out what He promised in the past at the set time.
Just as God takes action according to time, you should take action at the right time as well. You have to take action quickly like fire. Prayer, evangelism, and listening to the Word all need to be done at the golden time. If you delay, you will miss the golden time, and it will become more difficult for you and others. Therefore, do things at the right time! When God tells you to go, you have to go without making excuses. When the Gospel is given to you, then from the very start, you should follow. If you follow, you will prosper. The Word and time are that important.
