Genesis 3:22-24
And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
The consequences of not using your body and environment valuably
In the Bible, people were judged and expelled from God’s domain when they failed to valuably use their bodies and the environments that God had given them. As a prime example, in the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve did not use their bodies and hearts valuably according to God’s Will; nor did they use God’s beautiful garden valuably. As a result, they were kicked out. At Noah’s time, too, people lived in the land of blessings that God had given to them, but they did not use the environment properly. They should have believed in God, loved Him, and taken action according to His Will in order to use themselves and the environment valuably. But rather than believing in and loving God like Noah did, they did not take heed of what God had said through Noah and were judged. People living in Sodom, Gomorrah, and nearby cities also did not use their bodies and environment valuably even though they were living in the most developed land given by God at that time, so they, too, received judgment.
Conversely, King David and King Solomon were people who believed in, loved, and gave glory to God. As a result, they were able to use themselves and their environments valuably, and through wisdom, they achieved a unified kingdom.
At the time of the New Testament, the Israelites did not believe in nor listen to the Word of the Messiah Jesus whom God had sent, so they could not use God’s chosen land nor themselves valuably. As a result, their cities were invaded by the Romans, their temple in Jerusalem was destroyed, and their nation came to ruin.
The Israelites were the very people who had anxiously waited 4,000 years for the Messiah to come. However, when he actually came, they ostracized him, treated him as a heretic, and even killed him. If you don’t valuably use what God has given you, you will be rebuked and judged. You must treat and use the Lord valuably. Those who don’t do so will get caught up in their own perspectives and bring judgment upon themselves and their environments instead.
Blessings come when you valuably use your body and environment
If you believe in God, love Him with all your heart, listen to the Lord’s Word, and use your body diligently according to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, then you will live comfortably because you’re using yourself valuably. However, if you don’t use yourself valuably, you’ll get sick and your body will become weak.
Reflecting on past history, you must use the environment that God has given you valuably, and you must also use your body valuably every day together with the Trinity and the Lord. This will allow your body, soul, and spirit to become healthy. Living with the Holy Spirit and the Lord and having Their mentality is joy. In doing so, you will fulfill your hopes and dreams, and the Almighty God and the Holy Spirit will bless you with even more valuable things. You will gain 10 or 100 times more, it will be more rewarding, and you will be more joyful and thankful. As a result, you will come to appreciate the beauty and mystery of these things even more.
God created the heavens, the earth, creation, and human beings over the course of 13.7 billion years. Therefore, we must give thanks to God and develop all these things according to His design, making them beautiful and using them valuably. You should also become God’s counterpart of love and use yourself valuably. Success and failure are largely determined by your own actions. If you use your body, creation, and the environment valuably, you will gain valuable things and live abundantly.
