Romans 8:27-28
And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
The gift of discernment
Discernment is such an important life skill. Learning how to discern is learning the greatest way of things. The grace of discernment is given to those who make the effort to live absolutely according to God’s Will.
As depicted in Romans 12:2, not everything is God’s Will, so you must discern through the Holy Spirit whether it is God’s Will or not and then take action. You must realize how important it is to be able to discern and know whether or not something is God’s Will. If you don’t take action according to God’s Will, your body will regret it throughout its entire life and your spirit will regret forever.
Anyone who believes in and loves God wants to live according to His Will. By doing things according to God’s Will, you’ll feel joy in both your body and spirit and what you do will work out well. On the other hand, if you do things according to your own will, even though your desires may be fulfilled, you cannot share the joy with God and the Holy Spirit, and your actions may even bring you harm. As time goes by, you will regret the things you did that were not done according to God’s Will. Those things will constantly bother you, and you will feel sinful and burdened by the fear that they may not work out. Therefore, you should do things only according to the Will of God and the Holy Spirit.
However, people worry and become concerned and frustrated because they don’t know what God’s Will is for them. Don’t just wait for God to carry out His Will, but pray and prepare while wishing and desiring to fulfill His Will. Then God and the Holy Spirit will acknowledge your efforts and make you realize the Will that you are to take action on. Both the people who take action without knowing God’s Will and those who take action knowing God’s Will receive according to their deeds.
God’s Will is greater than your own
If you live fulfilling only your own will and purpose, your life will end in vain. Living in this way benefits only your body; your spirit cannot be blessed. You must always think about God’s Will without forgetting it; then the Holy Spirit will inspire you and make you realize. Good thoughts come at the very end, so wait until the end, and take action according to the thoughts of the Holy Spirit and the Lord.
When Jesus was crucified, he asked God if God was forsaking him. However, he still poured out his heart and prayed for God’s Will to be done and not his own will. Despite believing in God, if you cannot fulfill His Will, then your own desires cannot be fulfilled either. Your hope is contained within God’s Will.
God’s Will is like a measuring stick or a compass that you must embed in your mind, heart, and brain. And just as someone climbing a cliff would hold onto their lifeline, you must tightly grab hold of God’s Will, which is the lifeline of your mind. If you live according to your own thoughts and will, it may be comfortable at first, but ultimately you’ll reach a limit and find yourself in a situation where hope disappears like mist. On the other hand, if you live according to God’s Will, even though it may be difficult, good things will happen throughout your life and eternal hope will be fulfilled. Those who live according to God’s Will achieve success in body and spirit, but those who live according to their own will walk on the path of failure.
According to Romans 8:28, God works for the good of those who love Him. Therefore if you act according to God’s Will, you will be able to unite and collaborate with other believers and take action together as one. The Holy Spirit always helps us and inspires us to live according to God’s Will. Therefore, if you take action through the Holy Spirit, you will collaborate with others and take action united as one.
God’s Will is the path of life
God’s Will is love, light, goodness, salvation, peace, mercy, compassion, and unity. It is Heaven. Heaven was constructed according to God’s Will. Therefore, only those who act according to His Will can live there. When you come to know, God’s Will can become your path. It is a heavenly path of destiny and a path without regrets. If you find the Will God has for you, then all your problems will be solved.
As it says in Romans 8:27, God will search your heart. He will check to see if you are living according to His Will. However, the Holy Spirit will intercede for you by inspiring you. So you must discern the time period as well as God’s Will for you. If so, you will be united with the Trinity and everything will work out well. And if you develop yourself according to God’s Will, then God will use you appropriately.
