If You Believe in the Word and Act upon It, Miracles Will Take Place

Luke 7:32
They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to each other:
“We played the pipe for you,
and you did not dance;
we sang a dirge,
and you did not cry.”

Luke 11:23
“Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.”

Mark 9:23
“’If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”

Believe in God’s Word and follow it

Throughout life, you continually learn new things and use what you have learned. However, if you don’t actively use what you have learned, you will end up losing it. It’s the same with faith. God gave the Word so that you would believe in Him and the Messiah He sent, and receive salvation. But you can’t just stop at believing—you have to truly follow it by taking action on the Word. You achieve change by putting the Word to practice. As it says in Luke 7:32: if you hear the Word but don’t respond to it, it’s like hearing pipe music but not dancing, or singing a funeral song but not crying.

Before God sent the Messiah, the Jewish people had absolute faith in God, and they believed God Himself would come. So even though Jesus preached the Word, the people of the Old Testament didn’t realize that God had come through him and so did not respond. They believed in God, and that was it. Therefore, since they believed according to their own thoughts, they didn’t realize how God’s history was progressing. You have to reason things out according to God’s thoughts—according to the Word—then a history of miracles will take place.

Those who follow the Word experience a miracle every day

More than anything else, Jesus said, “Follow me. Come to me.” If you follow the Messiah, you’ll receive salvation and eternal life. The followers are the ones who are alive. And if you follow, miracles will happen.

So what are miracles? A miracle is something that is significant, out of the ordinary, or impossible. For example: controlling the ocean tide—that would be a miracle. When a miracle happens, people are shocked and so they believe in it. God performed many miracles through Jesus so that people would believe in the Messiah and in the Word he preached. And as a result, people came and followed, and for them, miracles happened every day. The act of walking the path of life was in itself a miracle.

Overcome evil and follow God’s miraculous history

Satan interferes the most by hindering you so that you will not follow God’s Will. Satan makes you think it’s too difficult to follow and live according to the Word. So following is a tremendous thing. If you listen to the Word and follow it, then even that day is a miracle, and a miraculous history will happen to each person who follows.

In following, you can’t do it with just faith or hope alone. You have to have faith, hope, and love for God and the Lord. You also have to receive the love that God and the Lord give to everyone. Following happens as a result of all these things coming together.

But it’s actually easy, and it all depends on you! Just listen to the Word, learn, and follow. As long as you follow, God will continue to show you miracles: of finance, of being saved from death, and all kinds of other miracles. Know God and see the miracles that He shows to you in your everyday life. See the work God is doing, believe, and follow. The one who follows will continually benefit and receive blessings.

God has a plan for everyone

If God has a Will, you should quickly recognize what it is and follow. Just as you set your mind to do something and then do it, isn’t it the same for the Almighty God? God sent the Messiah to this world to save us–and He surely fulfilled it. Likewise, whatever Will He has for you, He will surely fulfill it in your lifetime. But whatever God has planned for you, you have to make it so that He will fulfill it in you by you taking action on His Word. God has a plan for everyone. You just need to walk the path of life to make miracles happen every day.
