Matthew 13:3-9
Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear.”
Fertile Fields
All fields can become fertile through effort. A field full of rocks can be cleared, just as a person can cultivate a good heart. God blesses and gives missions based on how we prepare ourselves. He looks for purity and goodness in the heart (1 Samuel 16:7), not appearance. God’s actions address the hearts of the wicked, guiding them to rid themselves of evil. Only a pure heart allows the faith within to grow.
Polish the Heart
To reach Heaven, we must act according to God’s Word and polish our hearts with righteousness. God created us to feel deeply, and our hearts respond to inspiration. Wickedness deceives, while a pure heart reflects a true nature, like pure gold. Actions reveal the heart’s true nature—God judges according to it. If someone’s external behavior is bad but their heart is good, God refrains from judgment. The fundamental nature, however, must remain untainted.
Take Action Blamelessly
Just as God takes action without blame, we must do the same in our bodies, souls, and spirits to unite with Him. Jesus modeled this by acting without flaw, fulfilling God’s Will. By removing our flaws, we too can shine and prosper. Identifying and removing flaws is necessary for becoming blameless, and we must live according to the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
To Live Comfortably
To live comfortably, we must serve God and make the Trinity comfortable. We must recognize our flaws and take action to remove them. While it’s easier to see others’ flaws, we must listen to the Word, pray, and remove our own. Flaws of the mind, heart, and thoughts, including sin and weakness, must be addressed. Repentance helps remove sin-related flaws, and using the Bible as a mirror helps to identify them. The Word of God is blameless, and as those who fulfill God’s purpose, we must be adorned blamelessly.
Loving God and Understanding Love
Loving God means loving Him with body, heart, soul, and spirit (Matthew 22:27). It’s not about the physical love that is often portrayed in the media, but a holistic love that encompasses both body and spirit—through prayer, praise, service, and actions aligned with God’s Will.
The One Sent Testifies for the One Who Sent Him
God sends the savior to save humanity from a world of suffering. Abel represents the spiritual side, while Cain represents the physical. To align with God, we must act based on the spirit, allowing the body to follow. The one sent by God in each time period receives the Word and guides others to act with them in unity—body, soul, and spirit.
