Isaiah 55:6-9
6 Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. 8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Pray until you meet God. You need to meet Him. Then you will be able to say what you want to say and God can listen to your prayers. If you don’t pray until you meet Him, how can you say anything to Him? How can God hear your words? Therefore, pray until you meet God and tell Him your wishes earnestly so they can be fulfilled.
Meeting God Directly
People often think that as long as they pray, the words they speak will go to God. However, this is not the case. You must continue to pray until He comes to meet with you directly. Then, when He has come, you must continue to pray, explaining and conversing with God in detail. Only then will everything you want to tell God be conveyed and you will receive His thoughts in turn.
Now is the Opportunity
God meets people when they are lonely and pray by themselves. He meets people and listens whenever they pray to Him sincerely and earnestly. He meets people when they face difficulties as well. When you do all kinds of work for God, you should meet with Him because it’ll be necessary to complete the work. You also meet God when you listen to the Word.
You need to meet God, tell Him your wishes directly, and have Him hear your wishes and fulfill them. Therefore, don’t just say your prayers and end it at that. Pray until you meet God; offer a prayer of meeting with Him and talking to Him.
Pray Fitting God’s Heart
Praying a lot doesn’t guarantee you will meet God. However, if your prayer fits His heart, you will meet Him right away. If a person says things fitting to another person’s heart, the two will connect right away because they want to. It is the same between us and God.
The Holy Spirit can help, making us realize what to pray about, reminding us what to repent for, and leading us to offer tearful prayers of thanksgiving. The Holy Spirit needs to help you and work upon you personally for you to pray heartfelt prayers of inspiration and meet the almighty God. Therefore, plead with the Holy Spirit to help you pray.
Meeting God Through Prayer
When you meet with God, you will know through feeling. Even though God is a spirit and you can neither see Him with your eyes nor hear His voice, He will show you parables of certain situations and speak to you through visions or revelations in nature. He will also fulfill the purpose of meeting you and let you know clearly that He has met you.
At that time, when you express the things you want to say one by one with passionate tears, and when you speak about each matter one at a time with joy and gratitude, God will answer you. God’s thoughts are so different from your own that you may even be shocked when you receive them. Do not waver upon hearing people’s words. Instead, pray prayers to meet God, listen to God’s Word, and take action only believing in God’s Word.
Pray Until the End
Those who stop praying before meeting God are those who don’t fundamentally understand why we should pray. They don’t know the extent of the loss they are incurring by being unable to meet God.
You need to pray until the end, until you meet with God. If you stop praying midway, then you will be disconnected from God, even if He was already on the way to meet you. He will feel sad about that. If you had prayed just a little bit more earnestly, you could have met God, but you didn’t because you failed to pray until the end.
Pray until the end. God loves us, so He will meet us.
