What is the new work?

When the Messiah comes, he will be the only one who can fulfill this Scripture (Isaiah 43). When the Messiah comes, the new times will have also come because he will proclaim the new Word just as Jesus did at the time of the New Testament. With the new Word, new work will be done. First, the Savior must come to save people; second, the new work is carried out. The new work comes from the new Word delivered by the One sent.

The new work refers to new things being done in a new time. New people will come to church, be evangelized with the new Gospel, and help to accomplish the work that God wants to fulfill at that time. To carry out the new work, we will arm ourselves with the new Gospel and righteous actions.

Prioritize spiritual work

The work that should be done first is spiritual work. This includes believing in and serving God, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord. Spiritual work also means managing and maintaining your faith, delivering the Word to others, and eternally loving the Holy Trinity. When we receive the new Word, we should enjoy it and take action upon it. Just as you should live the life of marriage wholeheartedly after getting married, when you receive the new Gospel, you should live according to the Word that you hear.

The work that should be done second is physical work. This includes loving your parents, friends, siblings, and spouse, as well as earning money and having a place to live. This type of work is also important.

Why should we do the new work?

Every human being looks for new things to fill their daily life. People who don’t believe in God will look towards the opposite sex, alcohol, drugs, and the media in order to find that ‘new thing’ they are seeking. But by doing the new work of God, we will receive more blessings, be given new things, and receive new strength to stand firm in our faith. We will gain joy and happiness by doing these new things, and we won’t get left behind as the new time period progresses with the new Gospel. In doing the new work, we will be able to display our individual strengths and abilities in many different ways.

How can the new work be accomplished?

The most important thing when it comes to being able to do the new work is to be alert to the Word of the time period. Once you hear the new Gospel being preached, you must follow, believe, and take action. You will need to set aside your own thoughts and become united with the One sent by God for the time period. This can be accomplished through prayer and by living according to the thoughts of the Lord. With the Lord’s mentality, you will be able to come to your senses and see what God and the Lord are doing on the earth when the time comes.
