Love God with all your heart, will, and life.
Matthew 22:37-38
Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment.
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
You will follow the Lord if you are perfectly bound to Him through the chains of grace, love, faith, and the Word. The greatest among these is love.
God made love His greatest purpose and for love, He gave the Word, led us to believe, saved us, and gave us grace. He also saved us because of love. That is why when love shatters, everything shatters.
Then how should we love God?
Often times, when people teach about love toward God, they teach it only as spiritual love and not physical love, saying, “When loving God, physical love will not do.”
However, in reality, that is not true. If you do not engage in physical love, your faith will also come to an end. That is because the physical love that is not given to God will instead all be given to the world. But when people are told, “Love is done with the body,” they usually only think of physical relations between people. That is not it. You have to learn correctly to teach correctly.
Then what is physical love?
It is your body that seeks God, prays to Him, converses with Him, sings to Him, and gives glory to Him during the day too. And it is your body that takes action in a variety of ways and tells God, “God, I love you!”
Jesus said, “Love God with all your heart, will, and life.”
This comes from Matthew 22:37-38. It is the first and the greatest commandment. The “life” in this particular passage is the body taking action. Together with the thoughts, it is the body that seeks God, converses with Him, sings to Him, gives glory to Him, and loves God while doing the things that He wants. In this world, you cannot do anything if you exclude the body. Therefore, if you exclude the body, it is like saying you should love God only with your words, mind, and thoughts.
That is only a conceptual love.
When God created human beings, He created them to love.
In this world, if you exclude the body, with what will you love? Through what do you ultimately express yourself after thinking and paying attention? You express them through the body. Ultimately, you live life with the body.
When people think about the worldly physical love, they think only about physical relations. However, when brought before God, physical love is processed in tens of thousands of different ways.
Prayer is love.
Singing praises is love.
Listening to the Word is love.
Delivering the Word is love.
Acting on the Word is love.
Giving thanks and giving glory is also love.
Love God with all your heart, will, and life!
It is to love God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son by pouring out all of your love 100%.
I bless you all to ignite with the fire of love through the Word and the working of the Holy Spirit.
