Those Who Hope in God, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord

Isaiah 40:29-31
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Longing out of love

‘To hope in’ means to wait upon, to have a heart of longing, and to have a heart of reverence. In the days of kings, people would revere the king and long for the king. But instead of just revering the king out of a desire for power and ambition, the purpose should be to revere him out of love, out of longing. Longing for someone is a very high-level state because it’s so hard to put it into practice. You should testify for God, look up to Him, revere Him, and live your life serving Him, loving Him, and longing for Him.

Renew your strength through hope

Those who hope in the Lord, those who hope in God will gain new strength. To those who are weary, He will give power and strength. The time when people panic is when they have no strength and when they lose the essence of their faith. In the end, they fall over either because they have nothing to hold on to, or they fall over out of ignorance.

More than all the countless people living on the earth, the ancestors of faith who hoped in God received more blessings than others, and they lived healthy lives. People and nations trembled in fear of various things, but what is scarier than all those things is God. Once God speaks and proclaims something, everything is over. When there is a person whom God works through, no one can defeat that person’s nation. Those who hope in God have extreme power and strength. Not only that, but they also have wisdom and knowledge. God gives to those who hope in God. So, those who hope in the Lord should fill their hearts completely with hope. They must not be shaken no matter what happens along the way.

God judges without listening to excuses. He only looks at whether you have done something or not. Those who hope in God, serve Him, long for Him, and revere Him will be able to complete their work. You, too, must listen to the Word, become people who hope in God, and thereby gain new strength. Even though young people may fall over and stumble, those who hope in God will be strengthened despite that. They will renew their strength and soar like eagles into the air. The reason you cannot fly is because your attitude and mentality of hoping in God is weak.

Hope enables you to overcome hardships

Those who hope in God can overcome a great deal of persecution. People like Noah overcame hardships and death. He built the ark, took action as God had instructed and coached him, and overcame tribulations and difficulties.

Those who place their hope in God can overcome extreme tribulations, wars, and difficulties. Those who hope in God will become healthy, youthful, and vibrant. They can realize God’s Word properly and interpret it properly.

Fatigue results in exhaustion and can lead to death. Those who hope in God will not grow weary as they live their lives, even if they continue to diligently carry out God’s work.
