Do It Quickly

Psalm 147:15
15 He sends his command to the earth; His word runs swiftly.

Isaiah 19:1
A prophecy against Egypt:
See, the Lord rides on a swift cloud and is coming to Egypt. The idols of Egypt tremble before Him, and the hearts of the Egyptians melt with fear.

God carries out history on swift clouds. In other words, God carries out history through swift people. Therefore, God urges us to act quickly. What should we quickly take action upon? It is the current work that you are doing right now; you must do that work quickly.

God likes it when we do things quickly. That’s because God Himself takes action so swiftly. God is so quick; He’s the fastest Being. Why? Because He knows. Because He keeps the time. People who keep the time do things quickly.

There’s another way to do things quickly. It is by doing things in advance. You should prepare ahead of time, plan ahead of time, and estimate ahead of time. You can’t get things done if you don’t cut and mend what needs to be cut and mended ahead of time. You must not be swift when you haven’t even completed the preparatory work.

God carried out history through people who acted swiftly. Those people started early on from a tender age. Joseph, Jacob, and Moses all started at a young age. The moment God came upon them, they quickly and hurriedly entrusted their lives to Him.

God loves it when we fully entrust ourselves to Him. When we belong to God, then we do not belong to the side of Hell, to the world, or to other people. We become God’s people completely. That’s why He is happy when we become His.

The importance of acting swiftly

When you serve a great Being, you have to be swift. Jesus was frustrated at those who were slow to realize and believe the words of the prophets. He was also frustrated at those who were slow to believe his words. Doesn’t the Bible mention that you “shouldn’t go home to get your possessions” (Matthew 24: 17-18)? When you’ve met the Messiah, why would you go back to get your belongings? As soon as you meet the Messiah, you must follow him—even if you don’t have any shoes or clothing on; along the way, he will buy you clothes.

When you sin, you must hurry up and repent. And when you are given a mission, you have to hurry and get it done. If you are given a mission but don’t do things quickly, then the mission will be given to someone else, and problems will occur with that mission. You must get things done swiftly and quickly. If you do things slowly, nothing will work out. That’s for certain. Nothing works out if you do things slowly.

In everything you do, do it fast, swiftly, and quickly. You must know to be able to do it quickly. If you don’t know, you can’t do things quickly. That’s why you must learn. Learn and realize.

You must resurrect swiftly. Why? Because if you are dead, you won’t be able to gain. God does not give to those who are dead. You must come to life and at least squirm around, then you can be told, “Hey, eat.” You wouldn’t tell those who are dead to eat. Therefore, hurry up and resurrect in whatever areas you are still dead in.

You are alive only as much as you take action. So come to life! There’s nothing to gain for those who are sleeping. Only those who are awake can gain. Therefore, you must become fundamentally resurrected, fundamentally awakened, and carry out God’s work together with God!
